Warranty Policy

Product Limited Warranty

Summary: Please read this section carefully - it covers our obligations and responsibilities in relation to the Fashionhoom Service. If you have a problem with your order, you may be eligible for a replacement product or a refund, so please contact us as soon as possible.

Not applicable to users living in the European Economic Area or the UK (please see clause (2))

(1) Limited Warranty. We warrant that the Products will be free from material defects or damage when delivered to you or the Merchant's customer ("Limited Warranty").
Who can use this Warranty? Fashionhoom only provides this Limited Warranty to users and merchants. If you or the Merchant's customer sells or otherwise transfers the Product, all Limited Warranty coverage will terminate.
What is not covered by this Warranty? This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or defects in the Product caused by any of the following: (a) you or a third party; (b) any improper handling (including during shipping), use or storage of the Product; (c) failure to follow any Product instructions; (d) any modification of the Product; (e) any unauthorized repair of the Product; or (f) any external cause, such as accident, fire, flood, "Acts of God" or other acts or events beyond our reasonable control; or (g) any costs or expenses associated with loss of use of the Product, or any other costs or expenses not covered by this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty does not cover any items provided by third parties, size exchanges or buyer's remorse.
Finally, as described elsewhere in this Agreement, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the colors and details in the images on our website are 100% accurate representations of the Products, and the sizes may be approximate in some cases. Therefore, this Limited Warranty does not cover such matters.

How long is the warranty period? This Limited Warranty begins on the date the Product is delivered to the user or merchant customer and lasts for 14 days (the "Warranty Period"). For the avoidance of doubt, fashionhoom acknowledges that under certain jurisdictions, users may be entitled to a longer warranty period.
What remedies are available to you under this warranty? For any materially defective or damaged product, we will, at our sole discretion, either: (a) replace such product (or the defective or damaged part of the product) free of charge, or (b) refund the purchase price paid by the user or merchant to us and the delivery costs corresponding to the defective or damaged product.
How to obtain warranty service? Upon delivery of the product, you or your customer (if you are a merchant) should promptly inspect the product. If the product is materially defective (including any error made by fashionhoom in the printing process) or damaged when you receive it, or you have received the wrong product, then in order to be eligible for service under this limited warranty, you must submit a claim in accordance with our Returns Policy within the warranty period. If you are a merchant, your customer should contact you regarding any defective or damaged product and the delivery of any wrong product.

(2) If you are a user resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the legal guarantees provided for in the Consumer Sales and Guarantees Directive 1999/44/EC or similar consumer contract legislation apply to the sale of our products. You are therefore entitled to have the product repaired (or replaced) free of charge to the extent provided by law or, if one of the above remedies fails, the price of the product reduced appropriately or the contract cancelled. The costs of returning the product to be repaired or replaced under this clause and any costs of delivering the repaired or replaced product to you shall be borne by fashionhoom.

If we supply you with a product that: (1) is manufactured to your specifications and visibly bears your design; or (2) is sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons (or both), you will not be entitled to cancel your order or change your mind under our Returns Policy.

For other products, you have 14 days from the date of delivery of the product to cancel and return your order for any reason. You must notify us in writing of your decision to cancel your order before the cancellation period expires. You can contact us at support@fashionhoom.com. You must also return the product to us using the returns address stated on the original packaging in which your order was delivered within 14 days of notifying us of your decision to cancel your order. You must bear the direct costs of returning the product. We will refund the products and delivery costs (except for any supplementary costs incurred by you for choosing a method of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery method we offer) without undue delay within 14 days of receiving written notice of your decision to cancel your order. We may delay the refund until the products are returned or we receive proof that the products have been returned, whichever is the earlier. The refund will be made to the payment method used when you placed your order. You may be held liable for diminution in the value of the products resulting from handling other than that which is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products.
